Simon Barker trained as an architect at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London. He is interested in cinematic and photographic languages as a means to engage in ideas about place and memory, working with moving image, sound and visual installation, often making use of archival materials and photographic documentations, and exploring the potential of site specific and collaborative practice.
